Fill each cupcake liner evenly (I typically do 1/3 cup batter for each) for a dozen cupcakes with each recipe. 💖

Reduce the time, keep an out eye while they’re in the oven, and when the tops are pulling away from the pan - get your cupcakes out. 😋💕

It’s World Mental Health Day 💚

This audio shares a short excerpt from a poem I wrote titled ‘To Leave, Doesn’t Mean I Don’t Love You’ on one of my darkest nights of postpartum depression (PPD): the entire reason @kaitbakescakes exists. ❤️‍🩹

About 1 in 7 women experience PPD within the first year of giving birth. Although, the tragedy is the estimation that 50% of cases go undiagnosed due to stigma and the reluctance to reveal symptoms. In fact, I also fell victim to that tragedy. Today is a day to have an open conversation about mental health to reduce stigmas and spread awareness. It’s okay to not be okay. 👏🏻
